Praised for her depth and dimension, Swedish-Thai singer, composer, and producer Sirintip creates at the intersection of avant-pop, jazz, electronic music, and interdisciplinary art. Part ethereal, part impassioned, her voice moves across sophisticated harmony, dense electronics, and rhythmic experimentation, shaped by musical roots spanning jazz, pop, Thai traditional music, and European classical music.
Her two critically acclaimed albums include Carbon (Ropeadope, 2022), named one of DownBeat’s Best Albums of 2022, and Tribus (GroundUP Music, 2018), produced by Snarky Puppy’s Michael League and featuring Mark Guiliana. She has contributed to more than 50 recordings and composed the score for the 1925 silent film The Lost World. Her latest record, White Lilies, co-produced with Elliot Moss, explores grief, memory, and home.
Sirintip has toured internationally as a bandleader and as support for Snarky Puppy and Sungazer, with appearances at SFJAZZ, the Nobel Museum, Wonderfruit, and Winter Jazzfest.
Her interdisciplinary project Mycelium transforms scientific research on fungi and plankton through music, data sonification, projections, and dance. Her broader practice spans scientific collaboration, orchestral composition, and sustainability, including solar-powered concerts and bioplastic vinyl, driven by a desire to uncover connections between cultures, ecosystems, disciplines, and people.
